Tactical Pistol
Tactical Pistol is the cornerstone of Pure Training’s tactical pistol classes. This course will teach you to control your immediate environment. You’ll learn marksmanship, gun handling and combat mindset, the elements of the Combat Triad. Tactical Pistol will give you a solid day of range work, lectures and intense scenarios. Through our systematic and dynamic teaching methodology you will achieve a new level competence in tactical pistol handling. You will emerge a stronger, more alert person, conditioned to respond instantly to any threat. You will be prepared to prevail in an armed encounter.
“A life changing experience” is the way many students describe this class. You will no longer be “afraid of the dark”, or anything in it. Firearms skills are highly perishable and recurrent training is a must for the responsible citizen. Should you ever be involved in a life or death situation, the justice system will first question your training. Students will want to take the Tactical Pistol class again and again, for just this reason.
Your credentials from the Tactical Pistol are prerequisites for many of the other Pure Training classes. Pure Training curriculum is virtually yours to choose from when you have completed this course.

Intermediate Tactical Pistol
Intermediate Tactical Pistol is a natural follow-up to what is learned in the Tactical Pistol lass. In Intermediate Tactical Pistol we review the Tactical Pistol material and quickly proceed on to advanced gun-handling skills. Then we push you for faster time-on-target. You will shoot on the move and on moving target arrays, and you will greatly increase your tactical skills. You will train in more exciting scenarios, both daylight and night time conditions.
In Intermediate Tactical Pistol we introduce force-on-force training. You will use non-lethal munitions to solve problems involving walking, talking, thinking “bad guys”! It’s the most realistic training offered anywhere, and we want you to have the very best!
This is a great class for recurrent training, to polish skills that have eroded since your last class.

Advanced Tactical Pistol
While it is true that there are no “advanced” gunfights, we want you to be as prepared as possible when you are faced with a deadly threat. Advanced Tactical Pistol students are already very good shooters. At this level of skill, even minute improvements in your technique will lead to major performance improvements. You will have two full days of challenges and one evening session.
In Advanced Tactical Pistol, you’ll be trained to a very high standard of excellence. You’ll learn one-handed manipulations and malfunction clearances. You’ll learn how to get on target faster than you ever believed possible. Tactical problems will increase exponentially in complexity. In this advanced course, you’ll have more scenarios with much more emphasis on Force on Force.
Increasing existing skill levels, acquiring new skills, less time, more targets, a faster pace, more force-on-force, more low-light exercises, higher standards of proficiency, and more instructors make Advanced Tactical Pistol a very rewarding experience.

scores within previous year.

Concealed Carry Weapons Class
While Colorado is a shall issue State, a CCW permit is still required for concealed carry and interstate reciprocity. Our CCW class more than satisfies the Colorado’s training requirement for the Concealed Carry Permit. The class consists of lectures and range work. Emphasizing the responsibilities associated with carrying a concealed weapon, the elements of mental conditioning and firearms theory. You will experience a personal carry system lecture and more practical range work than at other companies offer. Classes are taught by current law enforcement officers.
